COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY PROCEDURES

We confirm we have complied with the government guidelines for the management of risk of Covid-19. We have carried out Covid-19 risk assessments which have been shared with all staff. We have additional cleaning & handwashing procedures in place according to current guidelines. We have taken reasonable steps to maintain a safe distance in the workplace in line with current guidelines & where staff & guests cannot maintain social distance we have done everything we can to minimise the risk.

Staff Members
​
- All staff have completed a return to work questionnaire before recommencing work after the lockdown to include Covid-19 references.
​
- Prior to arrival at work staff will complete a Covid-19 Daily Health Check & act accordingly.
​
- Once they arrive at work all staff will have a temperature check logged. There will be hand sanitiser available for immediate use when they enter the building.
​
- All staff will change as soon as they arrive at work into uniforms or appropriate workwear & outer clothing will be stored in lockers.
​
- Our front of house teams will be wearing visors and our back of house teams will be wearing face masks while on service.
You are more than welcome to wear a face covering in the restaurant if you wish.
​
- Staff will wash their hands for 20 seconds at least every 30 minutes.
​
- Disposable gloves will be used for preparation & cleaning tasks.
​
- There will be no physical contact such as handshakes permitted.
​
Service
​
- All menus & wine lists will be clean every time after use.
​
- Guests will be asked to strictly adhere to their booking times to ensure social distancing guidelines can be met.
​
- We are not temperature checking guests however we are temperature checking all of our team and any supplier before entering the building. If you have a high temperature, persistent cough or loss of taste and smell we would like to ask that you rearrange your booking along with current guidelines.

- There will be sanitisers available to use when guests arrive.
​
- We will not be able to accept your coats or bags.
​
- There will be no physical contact such as handshakes permitted.
​
- Hand sanitisers will be available for all guests & staff throughout the room.
​
- Staff will strictly adhere to their stations to reduce the number of staff attending each table.
​
- Table will be set after the guest sits, all cutlery and glassware. At each stage of preparing your food and drinks we have considered how we can minimise the social interaction both between our team and between you and our team. We have strict social distancing measures in place within the kitchen, bar and service areas. Our team will prepare the food and your server will bring the food to your table on a tray and we will ask you to lift from the tray to avoid additional contact.

- After any interaction with guests which results in possible contaminated contact, such as clearing plates & glasses, staff are required to wash/sanitise their hands.
​
- Guests will be asked to check with staff if the bathrooms are free to use.
​
- For the serving of water & wine, the first glass will be poured, then the bottle will be left for the guest & topping up will not be done by the staff.
​
- We recommend contactless payment or payment by PIN. When you wish to pay please stay at your table and our team will bring the bill to you. PDQ machines will be sanitised after each use.
​
- When guests have finished their meal they may be asked to wait while other guests leave the restaurant to help with maintaining social distancing.
Bookings
​
- We would prefer if possible that you can book online so we can know when you’re coming to help manage the queue and support social distancing.
​
- We welcome walk-ins but we will ask for a name and contact email or telephone number to be able to support the NHS Track & Trace system.
​
- Maximum booking of 6 people, we cannot accept multiple bookings for one party for larger tables.
